This is Love combines footage from one of the greatest films ever made on the life of Christ with music from the incomparable singer-songwriter, Steve Bell. This short film shows the anguished beauty of sacrificial love, drawing us into worship and challenging us to love others.

Jesus of Nazareth, starring Robert Powell in the title role, is Franco Zeffirelli's masterpiece. Memorable images of the Last Supper and the crucifixion blend with the soaring music of Steve Bell to probe the profound interplay of sacrifice and love.

The lyrics draw from Jesus' prayer of John 17 – which included a prayer for love and unity among his followers. As expressed in Bell's music and Zeffirelli's film, it's not the sort of love that we think we understand: it's a different thing altogether.
