Reeling with grief in the wake of a tragic accident, the retired veteran cyclist, Chris Carmik, is given the opportunity to train a rookie cycling prodigy for a championship race. Preoccupied with battling his own inner demons, Chris reluctantly agrees to prepare this prodigy for the fast-paced world of Bicycle Racing. Chris has now to come to grips with life as it is, instead of what he hoped had never really happened.
By using the cutting edge technology and scientific training methods which are available to him, Chris is able to transform his apprentice, Jake, into a top contender. However, he struggles to teach the most important lesson prominent in all champions, which is finding the true POTENTIAL INSIDE.
